Cumberland Valley, a historical and architectural gem today, has always played an important and strategic role in American history. As far back as the mid 1700s when it was caught in the middle of the French & Indian War fight for the control of new trade routes, Cumberland Valley has been on the forefront of military operations. During the Revolutionary War, the people of Cumberland Valley contributed important supplies - food, weapons and soldiers. George Ross, James Smith and James Wilson, all Cumberland attorneys, sign the Declaration of Independence. Molly Pitcher hails from Cumberland Valley. It was here that General George Washington met with his troops on his way to the Whiskey Rebellion. And, of course, during the Civil War, Confederate forces moved through the Valley on their wasy to Harrisburg.
This beautiful collections marks a time in American history when men fought for not just for land and territory, but for the very freedom that we enjoy today.

I viewed the new collections. I can see many projects I could make with them. Wow! The colors are fantastic in the Garibaldi II collection.I would love to use the Victorian Christmas for a table runner. Colors are beautiful in Sara's Stash. Sundance and Swing are a little too modern for my taste. I love Nib and Quill for the combination of blacks and cream. But, I think my over-all favorite was Cumberland Valley. It would be fun to win and make a quilt for our master bedroom. The colors are my "cup of tea"
Good collection with a great variety of prints from small print background to large florals, geometrics and stripes.
these colors match my bedroom, I would make a quilt for my bed.
I would love to make make the Cumberland
Bricks Quilt-the browns are amazing and non-fattening!
